How to order a wedding cake
from Jean-Marc.

Design
If the cake design is on your mind, the first step is to come by the bakery during any regular business hours and peruse the photos in Jean-Marc’s wedding cake albums. This will give you an idea of his style and whether you think it will fit in with your ideas for your wedding cake. Also, you may email a photo of a cake you saw somewhere else and ask if he could make something similar for you, or if he could incorporate a certain design element into one of the cakes you saw in his album.

Taste
If you haven’t tasted one of Jean-Marc’s wedding cakes, or if you’d like interested party members to taste the cake too, you may call the bakery at 412.821.8533 to order a nine-inch sample cake of four flavors for $20. You may take the cake home and sample it at your leisure. When you pick up your sample cake, you will have the opportunity to look at the wedding cake photos and see some display cakes.

Consultation
Wedding cake consultations with Jean-Marc are free. Appointments are usually made Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursdays from 4pm to 5pm. If these times don’t accommodate your schedule, Jean-Marc is more than willing to work out a time that will. Generally, however, most Saturdays and the month of December are times that are difficult for him to make appointments because he is so busy with bakery orders.

Securing the date
Jean-Marc only books two or three wedding cakes per weekend, so if you are interested in having him do your cake, it is important to reserve the date with a non refundable deposit of $150.
